How do I book an appointment at Antwerpen Braiders?+
Use our online booking system at /book or send us a WhatsApp message. We confirm within a few hours and require a small deposit to secure your slot.
What is the most popular braiding service?+
Knotless braids are our most-booked service, followed by boho braids and box braids. All three offer excellent longevity and a natural finish.
How long does a braiding appointment take?+
Anywhere from 1 hour (men's cornrows) to 10 hours (waist-length invisible braids). Each service page lists the typical appointment time.
How much do braids cost in Antwerp?+
Our services range from €40 (kids braids) to €280+ (invisible braids and bridal). Pricing depends on length, thickness and add-ons. See our full pricing page for itemised quotes.
Do you supply the hair or do I bring my own?+
Premium synthetic fibre is included in the price. For human-hair styles (boho, French curl, wig installs) you can bring your own or purchase from our curated selection.
Are your braids tension-free?+
Yes. Our braiders use low-tension knotless, feed-in and stitch techniques. We never pull on the hairline. Tell your braider immediately if anything feels uncomfortable.
How long do braids last?+
Most protective styles last 6–10 weeks. Specific longevity depends on the style — see each service page for detail.
Can I book a consultation before committing to a style?+
Yes — we offer a free 15-minute consultation. Bring inspiration photos and we'll recommend the right style for your hair density, lifestyle and goals.
Do you offer mobile braiding appointments?+
For bridal and event clients only. Studio appointments are otherwise required.
Can I bring a friend or partner with me?+
Yes — one guest is welcome. Please mention it when booking so we can prepare seating.
Do you take walk-ins?+
We don't recommend it — most slots are booked 1–3 weeks ahead. Online booking is fastest.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Free reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours, your deposit is non-refundable.
Do you braid relaxed or transitioning hair?+
Yes, in many cases. We'll consult on the right style and tension for your hair's condition.
What ages do you serve for kids braids?+
Ages 4 and up. We have a dedicated kids chair, snacks and screen time.
Do you braid men's hair?+
Absolutely — we offer cornrows, twists, fade-friendly patterns and more for male clients.
Can I wash my braids?+
Yes — most braids should be gently washed every 2–3 weeks. We provide a take-home aftercare guide.
Do you offer aftercare products?+
Yes — we stock our recommended bonnets, scalp sprays, oils and edge controls in studio.
Do you accept walk-in consultations?+
Yes, 15-minute consultations can be walked in Monday–Friday, 11am–4pm. Other times require booking.
Is your studio wheelchair-accessible?+
Yes — our Meir 42 studio has step-free entry and an accessible washing station.
How do I prepare for my appointment?+
Arrive on clean, detangled and blow-dried hair. We can also add wash & blow-dry to your appointment for €15. Eat well — long installs run 4–8 hours.
Can I bring photos of the style I want?+
Please do — visual references are the fastest way to align on the final look.
