Antwerpen Braiders was born from a simple idea: African hair deserves a salon experience as refined as the styles themselves.
Founded 2018
From a kitchen chair to Antwerp's Meir.
What started as private appointments for friends quickly grew into a waitlist, then a studio, and today a small house of braiders united by a single standard: craftsmanship without compromise.
Our team blends West-African heritage techniques with a contemporary, European sensibility — every install considered, every parting precise, every client treated as the only client.
Today we serve hundreds of clients each month across Antwerp, Berchem, Borgerhout, Mechelen and Brussels — from busy professionals to brides, athletes and children.

Our braiders carry an average of 10+ years' specialist experience in protective styling. We invest yearly in continuing education with West-African master braiders and European trichology professionals so every install is rooted in tradition and informed by modern scalp science.
